Frequently Asked Questions

Is it easy to store when not in use?

Yes. The panels fold flat for compact storage and are lightweight enough to carry in a bag. Whether you're packing for a camping trip or tidying the living room, the playpen is easy to put away until next time.

Can I customise the shape and size?

Absolutely. The 16 individual panels can be arranged in any shape and size to fit your space. Add or remove panels to make it bigger or smaller as your needs change.

What size dogs is this playpen suitable for?

The 24-inch panel height makes it ideal for small to medium breeds. It's perfect for puppies, dachshunds, beagles, cocker spaniels, and similar breeds. For larger or more energetic dogs, we recommend pairing it with additional panels for extra height.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes! The playpen works beautifully in your backyard, on camping trips, at the beach, or next to your RV. The sturdy panels hold their shape on grass, sand, and hard surfaces alike — giving your dog a safe, defined space wherever you go.

How long does it take to set up?

Just minutes. The 16 panels connect easily without any tools — simply click them together in any configuration you like. Square, rectangular, circular — you choose the shape that works best for your space.

PERFECT FOR OUR NEW PUPPY

We just got a new puppy on Saturday February 13th, 2021. At first we had her on a 20 foot chain that was anchored right inside the dog door on our heated and cooled front porch. First she chewed through her harness and so we started using a collar. I was terrified that she would slip out of that collar somehow so I started looking for another option and came across this pet gate/fence. As you can see we have been getting a ton and the ground is frozen. But after snow blowing where we wanted to put the fence up, my son and I worked together to get all the pieces connected and the fence put where I wanted it to go. It was super easy to put together. However, with the ground being frozen we could not push the connecting stakes into the ground. This fence is so well made and sturdy that it stayed up with no problem for two days before my husband staked it down with very thick and strong metal stakes. He also used zip ties to make it more secure. Then he used zip ties and attached solar lights to the top of the fence so that at night we can see our new puppy and our old dog out the window (we don’t have any lights on that side of the porch). We do have an in-ground electric fence but with her being a new puppy and just getting to know us, the last thing we need is for her to get shocked. Also, due to the weather we can’t put flags up and train her the boundaries of the in-ground fence.

Good but slightly misleading

This is good for a portable fence. It's perfect for small pets or camping (as long as the pull in lots aren't concrete) because they are flimsy if you do not steak the fence into the ground via the connecting rods between each panel. And if you have a large dog that will lean against it, it will just fall over.I use mine to contain my kids for camping. The other reason I gave 3 stars is because I ordered the 40 foot fence. I didn't expect to be sent 5 small fences that equal 40 feet total. So I have 4 doors instead of 2, like the pictures online suggest. I thought that was annoying because I'd rather have all panels and the two entrances and not four. other than that, these are fine.

Great Playpen but does not connect to their own crate

Easy to assemble and are very sturdy. I assumed it would connect to the the brand's matching crate but the playpen does not. Had to find alternative method to lock the playpen in place. Other than that, solid product!

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I just got a golden retriever puppy a few weeks ago and we also have a 5 year old cocker spaniel. During the summer we like to spend time in our yard and in our pool. We live in a quiet neighborhood but we are right next to a road with occasional walkers and cars so safety for the dogs is of upmost importance to us. Last year I kept my dog on a long lead and that worked decently however she was tangling herself a lot in the bushes and fencing on our deck, and we knew with a second dog the tangling would get worse, especially if they start to play. We didn’t want to have to stop what we're doing outside 100 times a day to untangle them so we started to look into other options of keeping them in the yard. I quickly ruled out safety collars and other lead options out there, which pretty much left us with fencing. We rent currently so we couldn’t put in an actual fence and we didn’t have that big of a budget anyway. I knew some family had temporary fencing like this and started looking around, I was so afraid it was going to be super flimsy and get knocked down right away, too short where my dogs could jump over it, and not have enough panels to give them the space I wanted to. After doing a lot of shopping around I came across this product and decided to bite the bullet and try it out.

Perfect Camping Fence for Our Pack! 🐾🏕️

We absolutely love this fence! Assembly is incredibly quick and easy, and once it’s set up, it feels sturdy and secure. It’s perfect for camping with our five dogs and gives them plenty of space to safely hang out with us outdoors.Another huge plus is how well it travels—the panels stack neatly together and fit perfectly on the roof rack above our truck. Easy to set up, easy to pack, and exactly what we needed for camping with our pack! 🐾🏕️ Highly recommend!

Great alternative to fencing!

Love this!! ❤️perfect for my shih Tzu no more cable getting tangled up. Put it up in about an hour & half. Have to get “U” stakes to secure it better since my yard is rocky and will tweak some things as we go. Overall great price, sturdy and was shocked it was delivered overnight

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I read the 1-3 star reviews before purchasing. It arrived earlier today. I just finished setting it up and let my 3 month old puppy try it out. She loves it.Let's get down to the basics.Reviewer says: It's too short. The description does say 24 inches tall. It's for small dogs. I knew that. And if my puppy happens to clear the top rail, I'll add something to deter it from happening again.Reviewer says: It Rusts and Gets Dull After Several Months. So hit it with some anti-rust paint, and reassemble once dry. That's what I'm going to do.Reviewer says: The pins bend after disassembly and reassembly.Maybe for you, but my yard is riddled with mole tunnels. With very little effort, I sunk a pin all the way down into the ground easier than a knife cutting butter. But if you have normal or clay hard dirt, run out to the hardware store and get some very long nails or something. I'm sure a clerk can offer a solution.Reviewer says: The gates are designed poorly and fail to remain shut.I've not seen an issue. Maybe you installed it backwards. Have the edge rings on the inside, all around. But, if it becomes an issue for me, I'll fasten a gate lock. But, to be honest, I'll probably just use a bungee cord. Hey, this is only a 2 foot fence anyway. Make the gates permanently locked with zip ties. It's not like you can't step over the fence.I bought this for based on 2 things.#1 It's cheaper than fencing in a section of yard.
